Building Community Trust to Transform Health and Wellness

We address the intersection of LGBTQIA+ health, sexual wellness stigma, and Black women’s whole health by centering community trust as the strategy for meaningful impact.

Community Trust is the Strategy

Community Advocacy

At the intersection of LGBTQIA+ health, sexual wellness, and Black women’s whole health, I lead with community trust. Every program, workshop, or campaign we design starts with understanding the people we serve, building relationships, and honoring lived experiences.

Wellness Consulting

Rethinking sexual health and holistic wellness for organizations, prioritizing inclusive education and radical care models.

Equitable Leadership

Developing leadership models that prioritize intersectionality, community impact, and sustainable organizational transformation.

Our Pillars

A trust-centered approach to sexual wellness, whole health, and community impact.

01

Community Trust (The Strategy)

Trust is not earned after the work—it is how the work begins

We build before we ask. We listen before we lead.

Community trust is the foundation of everything we do. We prioritize relationships, lived experience, and cultural understanding to ensure that every program, conversation, and resource is rooted in authenticity—not assumption.

This means:

  • Meeting communities where they are

  • Creating safe, affirming spaces

  • Centering voices that are often overlooked

02

Sexual Wellness

We normalize the conversations others avoid.

We approach sexual health as a vital part of overall wellness—not something separate or shameful. By addressing stigma directly, we create space for honest dialogue, education, and empowerment.

This includes:

  • HIV awareness and prevention (including PrEP)

  • Open conversations around desire, pleasure, and agency

  • Breaking cycles of silence and misinformation

03

Whole Health for Black Women

We honor the full experience—not just the symptoms.

Our work centers Black women’s physical, emotional, and sexual health as interconnected. We move beyond clinical frameworks to embrace holistic care that reflects real life.

This looks like:

  • Integrating mental, emotional, and sexual wellness

  • Addressing systemic barriers and lived realities

  • Creating culturally relevant care and resources

04

Culturally Relevant Engagement

If it doesn’t connect, it doesn’t work.

We design programs, campaigns, and experiences that resonate because they are built with culture in mind—not added as an afterthought.

This means:

  • Language, visuals, and messaging that reflect the community

  • Community-informed program design

  • Moving from performative outreach to meaningful engagement

05

Collective Care & Community Power

Wellness is not individual—it’s collective.

We believe healing and growth happen in community. The Circle is a space for connection, support, and shared empowerment.

This looks like:

  • Peer support and shared experiences

  • Community-led initiatives

  • Creating environments where people feel seen and supported

06

LGBTQIA+ Affirming Care

We ensure that LGBTQIA+ communities—especially Black and Brown individuals—are not only included but centered in health and wellness conversations.

This includes:

  • Affirming identity and lived experience

  • Challenging exclusion in traditional health spaces

  • Designing programs that reflect real community needs
